Tabs play an important role in the online browsing experience. Nearly every major browser has recently incorporated a new feature called “Tab Groups.” And you should be utilizing Tab Groups if you aren’t already.

Tab Groups
Tab Groups are based on a basic notion. It enables you to bring together several tabs into groups that can be named and moved around.
Tab Groups are accessible in Google Chrome on both the desktop and mobile platforms, as well as Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Firefox. On all platforms, the functionality functions in a similar way.
Tab Groups enable you to maintain all your tabs in one window while also dividing them up into various sections. You don’t have to remember which project’s tabs are in which window. Everything is in one area, color-coded and labeled for easy identification.
Furthermore, placing the tabs in a Tab Group allows you to grab all the tabs at once if you wish to break them out into their own window. Essentially, it’s the best of both worlds.

Visual Arrangement
Tab Groups can be identified and color-coded, as previously described. If you have a lot of tabs open all the time, these labels can make a big impact on how you see the browser tabs.
The smaller the tabs become and the less information you can see, the more you have open. If you utilize Tab Group labels, you’ll quickly and easily identify that the red group is for that project you’ve been working on, while the green group is for Christmas present purchasing.
Put simply, the favicon and page title of your website don’t necessarily reflect what you’re doing. Labels and colors for Tab Groups are a much better method to see what’s going on.
You might have dozens of tabs open but only a few labels over the top of the screen if your device can handle it. Now you don’t have to feel so awful about not being able to close all those tabs that you might need.

Everything Has Its Place
The lesson of the story, if you haven’t worked it out yet, is organization. Your browser tabs will become a jumbled mess if you don’t use Tab Groups.

When you click a link, the website appears at the bottom of the tab list; there is no order, and you might lose track of what you have open. Tab Groups puts an end to all that.
