Question: What’s the best way to mirror my laptop display to my TV wirelessly?
Today, we have smart TVs that can run Windows 10 from a laptop or desktop computer. This is known as screen mirroring. With screen mirroring, you no longer have to experience special moments alone, staring at your little phone or laptop screen. You can now enjoy fun content and even mobile games with your friends and family on a large screen. Sharing your school or work presentations is made easier with screen mirroring.
There are two main ways to connect your laptop to your TV: 1) Connect to a Smart TV or 2) Use a wireless display adapter to connect any TV with an HDMI port.
Connect to a Smart TV.
Connecting to a Smart TV should be simple and easy. Smart TVs have this functionality built in. On your Windows 10 PC, go to your display settings and choose “Connect to a wireless display”. You should find your Smart Tv on the list of devices and voila! The one thing you should note is that a lot of Smart TVs need a viable internet connection to connect with other devices.
Use a Wireless Display Adapter
What if you don’t have a Smart TV or a stable internet connection? No need to worry.
You can get a wireless display adapter and connect it to your TV with an HDMI cable. With Miracast technology, the adapter will create a wireless connection from your Windows 10 PC to your TV. Many of these wireless adapters are widely available and easily configured.
