1. Use Keyboard Shortcuts
Use keyboard shortcuts to perform basic activities faster. To help you get started, here are some useful keyboard shortcuts:
• Ctrl + E will take you to the search page.
• Ctrl+Shift+O to turn off your camera
• Ctrl+Shift+M to turn off your microphone.
• Ctrl+Shift+P to blur the background
• Ctrl+6 to go to your files.

2. Search conversations
Search is a vital tool. To use this one, simply key in what you’re looking for and press Enter. The search results will be displayed in the left-hand pane. By clicking on the tabs, you may switch between People and Files. This will include both group and individual messaging.

3. Use @mention to send and filter messages
Simply put the @ sign into the search field to find the name you’re searching for, and you’ll be able to message the person directly no matter where you are on the site. @mentions may also be used to filter recent activity and prioritize messages.

4. Email forwarding to a channel
Many people continue to use email on a daily basis. As a result, Microsoft has made it simple to forward an email to any of your Microsoft Teams channels. To do so, search for the ellipsis next to the channel name and choose “Get email address” from the drop-down menu.

5. Save a message for a future date
Because you can’t accomplish everything at once, you may need to return to a message later to give it your complete attention. To save a message, simply mouse over it and click the ellipsis (…), then click Save this message. To access stored messages, type /Saved followed by Enter in the search box. They’ll show up in the left-hand pane.

6. Perform polls
It’s time-consuming to ask a large group of people for their opinions on anything, but polling them is simple. To create and submit a poll in Microsoft Teams, just click the Forms button beneath the message box. Fill in the blanks with your question and response options. Toggle the Multiple responses toggle to allow multiple answers. There are additional check options for Automatically share results after voting and Anonymous answers. After you’ve double-checked everything, click Send and wait for the results to come in.

7. Add tabs to channels
Tabs make it simple to connect people to critical documents in Office or third-party programs. To add a tab to a channel, go to the top of the channel and click “+,” then choose a tab and follow the procedures. The tab will show at the top of the channel.
