PureText is a simple application that can remove formatting from any text that you have copied and placed on the clipboard in Windows. This allows you to paste text into any application as plaintext, i.e. with all font information, styles, colors, etc. removed. Once the application is installed, a button will appear on the taskbar, which can be simply clicked to remove all formatting from the clipboard text; if you prefer, you can configure your keyboard to give yourself a hotkey to do the same thing. PureText is available now at the Microsoft store and is a free application.
