Metamorphabet is a somewhat surreal app designed to help children learn their alphabet in an engaging and interactive way. Using animations, sound, and user controls, it flows through the letters of the alphabet in a way that every child – and most adults – will find engaging and intriguing. As the name suggests, the letters of the alphabet go through strange metamorphoses, for example, the letter C turns into a cone, which then transforms into a car driven by a caterpillar that can be made to honk, jump about, and even crash. All the words and letters are clearly spoken out, Sesame-Street-style, and the animations are so engaging that kids will be learning without even realizing they are.
